In the Fort Collins, CO market, new home sales climbed year-over-year in July, snapping back from a fall in June 2011. Sales increased 53.8% from a year earlier to 40, relative to a 56.3% fall last month from the year earlier.
In the 12 months ending July 2011, there were 501 new home sales, up from an annualized 487 in June.
As a percentage of overall housing sales, new home sales represented 6.7%. This is an increase on a percentage basis, as new home sales were 5.2% of total sales a year ago. After dropping last month from a year earlier, sales of new and existing homes rose year-over-year in July. Read More:
